Rig Veda I.105.1-19

चन्द्रमा अप्स्वन्तरा सुपर्णो धावते दिवि |
न वो हिरण्यनेमयः पदं विन्दन्ति विद्युतो वित्तं मे अस्य रोदसी ||

candramā apsvantarā suparṇo dhāvate divi
na vo hiraṇyanemayaḥ padaṃ vindanti vidyuto vittaṃ me asya rodasī (Rig Veda I.105.1)

WITHIN the waters runs the Moon, he with the beauteous wings in heaven.
Ye lightnings with your golden wheels, men find not your abiding-place. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

अर्थमिद वा उ अर्थिन आ जाया युवते पतिम |
तुञ्जाते वर्ष्ण्यं पयः परिदाय रसं दुहे वित्तम... ||

arthamid vā u arthina ā jāyā yuvate patim
tuñjāte vṛṣṇyaṃ payaḥ paridāya rasaṃ duhe vittam... (Rig Veda I.105.2)

Surely men crave and gain their wish. Close to her husband clings the wife.
And, in embraces intertwined, both give and take the bliss of love. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

मो षु देव अदः सवरव पादि दिवस परि |
मा सोम्यस्य शम्भुवः शूने भूम कदा चन वित्तम... ||

mo ṣu deva adaḥ svarava pādi divas pari
mā somyasya śambhuvaḥ śūne bhūma kadā cana vittam... (Rig Veda I.105.3)

O never may that light, ye Gods, fall from its station in the sky.
Neer fail us one like Soma sweet, the spring of our felicity. Mark this my woe

यज्ञं पर्छाम्यवमं स तद दूतो वि वोचति |
कव रतं पूर्व्यं गतं कस्तद बिभर्ति नूतनो वि... ||

yajñaṃ pṛchāmyavamaṃ sa tad dūto vi vocati
kva ṛtaṃ pūrvyaṃ ghataṃ kastad bibharti nūtano vi... (Rig Veda I.105.4)

ye Earth and Heaven.

अमी ये देवा सथन तरिष्वा रोचने दिवः |
कद व रतं कदन्र्तं कव परत्ना व आहुतिर्वि... ||

amī ye devā sthana triṣvā rocane divaḥ
kad va ṛtaṃ kadanṛtaṃ kva pratnā va āhutirvi... (Rig Veda I.105.5)

I ask the last of sacrifice. As envoy he shall tell it forth.
Where is the ancient law divine? Who is its new diffuser now? Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

कद व रतस्य धर्णसि कद वरुणस्य चक्षणम |
कदर्यम्णो महस पथाति करामेम दूढ्यो वि... ||

kad va ṛtasya dharṇasi kad varuṇasya cakṣaṇam
kadaryamṇo mahas pathāti krāmema dūḍhyo vi... (Rig Veda I.105.6)

Ye Gods who yonder have your home in the three lucid realms of heaven,
What count ye truth and what untruth? Where is mine ancient call on you? Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

अहम सो अस्मि यः पुरा सुते वदामि कानि चित |
तं मा वयन्त्याध्यो वर्को न तर्ष्णजं मर्गं वि... ||

aham so asmi yaḥ purā sute vadāmi kāni cit
taṃ mā vyantyādhyo vṛko na tṛṣṇajaṃ mṛghaṃ vi... (Rig Veda I.105.7)

What is your firm support of Law? What Varua's observant eye?
How may we pass the wicked on the path of mighty Aryaman? Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

सं मा तपन्त्यभितः सपत्नीरिव पर्शवः |
मूषो न शिश्ना वयदन्ति माध्य सतोतारं ते शतक्रतो वि... ||

saṃ mā tapantyabhitaḥ sapatnīriva parśavaḥ
mūṣo na śiśnā vyadanti mādhya stotāraṃ te śatakrato vi... (Rig Veda I.105.8)

I am the man who sang of old full many a laud when Soma flowed.
Yet torturing cares consume me as the wolf assails the thirsty deer. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

अमी ये सप्त रश्मयस्तत्रा मे नाभिरातता |
तरितस्तद वेदाप्त्यः स जामित्वाय रेभति वि... ||

amī ye sapta raśmayastatrā me nābhirātatā
tritastad vedāptyaḥ sa jāmitvāya rebhati vi... (Rig Veda I.105.9)

Like rival wives on every side enclosing ribs oppress me sore.
O atakratu, biting cares devour me, singer of thy praise, as rats devour the weaver's threads. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

अमी ये पञ्चोक्षणो मध्ये तस्थुर्महो दिवः |
देवत्रा नु परवाच्यं सध्रीचीना नि वाव्र्तुर्वि... ||

amī ye pañcokṣaṇo madhye tasthurmaho divaḥ
devatrā nu pravācyaṃ sadhrīcīnā ni vāvṛturvi... (Rig Veda I.105.10)

Where those seven rays are shining, thence my home and family extend.
This Tta ptya knoweth well, and speaketh out for brotherhood. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

सुपर्णा एत आसते मध्य आरोधने दिवः |
ते सेधन्ति पथो वर्कं तरन्तं यह्वतीरपो वि... ||

suparṇā eta āsate madhya ārodhane divaḥ
te sedhanti patho vṛkaṃ tarantaṃ yahvatīrapo vi... (Rig Veda I.105.11)

May those five Bulls which stand on high full in the midst of mighty heaven,
Having together swiftly borne my praises to the Gods, return. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

नव्यं तदुक्थ्यं हितं देवासः सुप्रवाचनम |
रतमर्षन्ति सिन्धवः सत्यं तातान सूर्यो वि... ||

navyaṃ tadukthyaṃ hitaṃ devāsaḥ supravācanam
ṛtamarṣanti sindhavaḥ satyaṃ tātāna sūryo vi... (Rig Veda I.105.12)

High in the mid ascent of heaven those Birds of beauteous pinion sit.
Back from his path they drive the wolf as he would cross the restless floods. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

अग्ने तव तयदुक्थ्यं देवेष्वस्त्याप्यम |
स नः सत्तो मनुष्वदा देवान यक्षि विदुष्टरो वि... ||

aghne tava tyadukthyaṃ deveṣvastyāpyam
sa naḥ satto manuṣvadā devān yakṣi viduṣṭaro vi... (Rig Veda I.105.13)

Firm is this new-wrought hymn of praise, and meet to be told forth, O Gods.
The flowing of the floods is Law, Truth is the Sun's extended light. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

सत्तो होता मनुष्वदा देवानछा विदुष्टरः |
अग्निर्हव्या सुषूदति देवो देवेषु मेधिरो वि... ||

satto hotā manuṣvadā devānachā viduṣṭaraḥ
aghnirhavyā suṣūdati devo deveṣu medhiro vi... (Rig Veda I.105.14)

Worthy of laud, O Agni, is that kinship which thou hast with Gods.
Here seat thee like a man: most wise, bring thou the Gods for sacrifice. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

बरह्मा कर्णोति वरुणो गातुविदं तमीमहे |
वयूर्णोति हर्दा मतिं नव्यो जायतां रतं वि... ||

brahmā kṛṇoti varuṇo ghātuvidaṃ tamīmahe
vyūrṇoti hṛdā matiṃ navyo jāyatāṃ ṛtaṃ vi... (Rig Veda I.105.15)

Here seated, man-like as a priest shall wisest Agni to the Gods
Speed onward our oblations, God among the Gods, intelligent. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

Baruna melagukan kidung pujian, kami memuja dia yang menunjukan jalan, ia yang mencurahkan dambaan hatinya agar lahir upacara baru, ya langit dan bumi, ketahuilah...

असौ यः पन्था आदित्यो दिवि परवाच्यं कर्तः |
न स देवा अतिक्रमे तं मर्तासो न पश्यथ वि... ||

asau yaḥ panthā ādityo divi pravācyaṃ kṛtaḥ
na sa devā atikrame taṃ martāso na paśyatha vi... (Rig Veda I.105.16)

Varua makes the holy prayer. To him who finds the path we pray.
He in the heart reveals his thought. Let sacred worship rise anew. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

तरितः कूपे.अवहितो देवान हवत ऊतये |
तच्छुश्राव बर्हस्पतिः कर्ण्वन्नंहूरणादुरु वि... ||

tritaḥ kūpe.avahito devān havata ūtaye
tacchuśrāva bṛhaspatiḥ kṛṇvannaṃhūraṇāduru vi... (Rig Veda I.105.17)

That pathway of the Sun in heaven, made to be highly glorified,
Is not to be transgressed, O Gods. O mortals, ye behold it not. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

अरुणो मा सक्र्द वर्कः पथा यन्तं ददर्श हि |
उज्जिहीते निचाय्या तष्टेव पर्ष्ट्यामयी वि... ||

aruṇo mā sakṛd vṛkaḥ pathā yantaṃ dadarśa hi
ujjihīte nicāyyā taṣṭeva pṛṣṭyāmayī vi... (Rig Veda I.105.18)

Tta, when buried in the well, calls on the Gods to succour him.
That call of his Bhaspati heard and released him from distress. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.

एनाङगूषेण वयमिन्द्रवन्तो.अभि षयाम वर्जने सर्ववीराः |
तन नो ... ||

enāṅghūṣeṇa vayamindravanto.abhi ṣyāma vṛjane sarvavīrāḥ
tan no ... (Rig Veda I.105.19)

A ruddy wolf beheld me once, as I was faring on my path.
He, like a carpenter whose back is aching crouched and slunk away. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.
