Bhagawad Gita XVIII.34
यया तु धर्मकामार्थान्धृत्या धारयतेऽर्जुन ।
प्रसंगेन फलाकाङ्क्षी धृतिः सा पार्थ राजसी ॥
yayā tu dharmakāmārthāndhṛtyā dhārayate’rjuna,
prasaṅgena phalākāňkṣī dhṛtiḥ sā pārtha rājasī.
BG 18.34
But that, O Arjuna, by which one holdeth fast right and justice (Dharma), interest (Artha) and Pleasure (Kama), and with great attachment desires for the fruits, persistence, O Partha, is tamasic.
